Professor
Ayaz Muhammad received a doctorate for his thesis on the local
government finance in Punjab in 1998 from the Islamia University,
Bahawalpur. He worked as research officer at the Centre for South
Asian Studies, Punjab University, Lahore and joined the Bahauddin
Zakariya University, Multan as a lecturer in the Department of
Political Science and International Relations in 1983.
