Major
General (Retd) Mahmud Ali Durrani
Major General (Retd) Mahmud Ali Durrani has had the distinction
of serving as Pakistan’s Defense and Military attaché
in Washington, DC, for five years, (1977-1982). This was a critical
period in US-Pakistan relations, and the general’s meritorious
services earned him the US Legion of Merit as well as the Pakistani
Sitara-e-Basalat awards. He is also the recipient of the Hilal-e-Imtiaz
(Military).
