Qaisra
Shahraz
Qaisra Shahraz was born in Pakistan and grew up in England. She
studied English and Classical Civilization at The University of Manchester,
later gaining a master degree in English and European Literature.
She has written plays for radio and the theatre, as well as scripts
for television. Her new drama serial Dil Hee To Hai has been recently
televised on PTV. Her prize-winning short stories have been published
widely in magazines and anthologies.
Working
as a lecturer, examiner, and a college inspector, Qaisra is also
a regular contributor, as a freelance journalist, to various newspapers
and magazines. She lives in Manchester with her husband and three
sons.
